Hi Ms. Wan! I met you a really long time ago at concept design academy. Finally found your blog again. Your work was great back when, but it's incredible now! Thank you for the inspiration! :)
I bought this print in the frame at Comic Con and you signed the back. Just wanted to let everyone know this is the ONE piece when I was walking the show floor I had to have instantly. I am absolutely in love with it! <3
Shelly, I was hoping you could explain this piece a bit more since I own it purely for the look and style. I think I understand the meaning based on depiction and title, but I want to know the artist point of view on it, so I can better explain to my friends accuratly when I show it off.

It looks much better and more cohesive now. Beautiful beautiful work!
SO awesome - some elements feels like resonating echoes of James Jean, but with your unique voice, fabulous!
its coming along really well. i like the saturated red, it leads the eye around the picture.

Nice to hear from you! I missed talking to you. How have you been?
I like it better then the previous one. Becasue of the darker background the painting became more interesting. Keep up the good work.
beautiful colors .
AND really good work.
very nice detail - but painful of course :) background looks better now if less busy and brings more attention for the beautiful rendered face
