Hey,

I really like your work Shelley!

Oddly, I clicked on your profile view because you liked 100 years of solitude AND harry potter (my two faves) lo-and-behold you are a fantastic artist.

Keep up the hardwork- and as a curiosity, do you use a Wacom? Have you seen the Cintiq 12WX?

Hello Shelly! I'm awfully sorry to bother you on your blog, but this was the address for contact info on conceptart.org :P I have a question concerning the painting of the two girls sitting in a tree whose roots appear to be an older man?

Was this based on any myth or story in particular?

Thank yoooou.

Absolutely beautiful paintings, Shelly. I've been admiring your work for awhile. Your post about Nathan Fowkes inspired me to do some film color studies of my own. (And become his blog stalker :) I can't wait to get out to the San Diego area and take all these great classes. Are you going to the Comic Con?

Hi Shelly,

I just wanted to let you know that I really love you work! I was reading my weekly email from TOR and one of the wallpapers linked was your winner for the Last Man Standing II competition, and I soon realized that you were the same artist on the Mothdust Changling, which I love the art of! I had to come and lay some praise on you.

Please keep up excellent work!

This is really nice... I love the chair and the highlights in the earrings.

The white in her skin/hair is looking a bit chalky, though it could just be the photo.

where'd you go, show us some more updates! :D
