This is unusually "cheery" for me, probably because of the colors i saw, mainly in the Tibetan household, during my Yunnan trip. Traveling sure changes how i approach my pieces...
Beautiful! Again, I am curious, are these figures pulled from your imagination or do use reference or hire models? You paint so quickly as well. I am amazed!
I pulled my figure refs from my digital library mainly: photography, sculpture, anything really. most of the stuff i ref to are older than 1920s. i don't have a budget or studio presently to shoot workable photography for now, and i usually find heavily referenced work too restraining... i hope this is of some help...?
