Another one in progress for "Fisherman and his soul". i am working on my laptop, and it's hard for me to tell if the bottom is completely too dark to see anything... i check my monitor with adobe gamma but i am still not sure~ Care to tell me what you see on your monitor...?
thanks,

really nice progress thus far! For what its worth, I think the lower portion of the image is subtle, but still readable. I am using a PC laptop, fyi.
It looks great on my Apple Cinema display. That's actually one of my favorite parts of the image - such a wonderful shift in values from top to bottom!
wow shelly i am indeed speechles....
BonJour Shelly ! Amazing composition and value shift as usual. I'm using a Macbook pro and I can decipher 2 female characters at the bottom, one facing us on the right and one sort of grabbing the prince's legs on the left(?), very subtle indeed but still readable. Hope it helps.
This is a jaw-dropper Shelly, I think maybe shaping into your best so far.
I'm working with a calibrated Apple cinema dispay and can read the botom two figures.
Outstanding!

In my PC screen is too dark to see nothing in the bottom.
The rest of the image looks simply amazing!
Gorgeous, your Art always give me goose bumps!
(The Dark area is subtle but still readable.)
it's too dark in the bottom shelly! make it a bit brighter! but i don't know anything though... that's just what my eye and heart sort of tell me... do what you love and love what you do!
I see a face of a figure and not much else. Beautiful piece so far!
Just a wee bit dark for me to tell what's going on (on a Mac laptop). But it is beautiful as always-
Thanks for sharing!
it's amazing - words can't say what I feel when I see theis painting ...
the lower part is readable to me - laptop pc dell m1530
Awesome work, as usual!
I like how dark and moody this is. I like when you use cool muddy colors
