Some new works i have from the last few weeks! Trying to work on more still life in the basement! Getting up at 5 am to get a couple of hours of paint down before work is quite an amazing feeling. :)

SPECTRUM news and some recent works~!

Dear artists, It's the season for showing off what you have worked on this year! I am extremely honored and grateful to be one of the judges of Spectrum Fantasy Art Annual this year, and I can't wait to see all of your wonderful submissions! ^0^ There's also still time to create your Magnum Opus of 2013~ Carpe Diem!

As for what i have been working on: I took a three day workshop with the talented Daniel Keys in Carmel, and went away with a deep and growing passion for Still lifes! Currently working on a piece in my basement! Here are the 4 hour studies i did in the workshop~ I highly recommend his class to anyone wanting to learn to paint!

It's finished~ 6 hours oil~ not that happy with the body. :) will keep at it!
